I’m 13 years old and totally into books (the kind you can’t put down), sketching whatever pops into my head and creating cool art with anything I can get my hands on. I also love writing menacing stories, sewing, watching anime, learning K Pop dances, snacking, gaming and I have a goal to live in Japan one day.
I'm a straight A student and the middle child of my family. My family affectionately calls me, "Pooh," and I'm known as the household administrator and caretaker!
Keep reading below and keep stopping by my website to see what I am up to. Follow me on Instagram and leave me your email at the bottom of this website so I can tell you when I go to Japan and when I publish my book! Keep me in your prayers. Hugs!
This event is free and will include fun for the whole family! I will bring a few unique art pieces to share. (NONE FOR PURCHASE.)
Visit the City of Desoto website below and register via the eventbrite link within the article. See you soon!
I am nervous and excited for my new journey as a early college dual credit student at Dallas College. The good news is: trying new things is a part of life and I can always try something else if this is not my jam! I will also still be homeschooling some subjects. See you in class! Visit https://www.dallascollege.edu/highschool for more info!
🎮 I applied & was accepted into a think tank program to co-create an immersive VR wellness tool! CREDITED CREATOR?! 🤯 Upon receiving the acceptance email— I learned that it was PAID! I am so excited about the impact this tool will have in the community of individuals struggling with mental health. Visit: www.champtexas.org/
I love all things Japan as you know, so this was a treat!
I volunteered at North Texas Japanese Baptist Church VBS! Since I am 13 and their VBS was for children age 4 to 10, I assisted with children's classes and crafts!
What a great opportunity to be immersed in Japanese languages with English translators. AND I got to do crafts, which I love!
VBS Theme: The Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control."
Established in 1984, The Japanese Baptist Church of North Texas is a church located in Dallas, Texas, and is affiliated with Southern Baptist, Texas Baptist, and Dallas Baptist organizations. They welcome Japanese speakers and their families, as well as English speakers who are interested in Japanese language and culture. They are a homely community that values the Bible, prayer and fellowship. Visit https://www.jbcnt.com/ for more information and go worship!
Is it weird that I take a deep dive into learning about Japanese culture-- EVERYDAY?! Yes? OK. Then call me weird!
I have a goal of studying abroad in Japan for part of my college education, but for now I am enjoying volunteering in my community and homeschooling with my mother.
Oh—and guess what? I’ve got a 385 day Duolingo streak learning Japanese! (August 2025)
It's not time for college study abroad yet-- BUT I’ve been accepted into an amazing 14-day immersive summer program in Japan (SO excited!!).
Each day, I’ll have Japanese language classes in the morning, go on cultural tours in the afternoon, and experience even more awesome stuff—like food, art, and daily life in Japan!
I am hoping that 700 awesome people who visit this website will chip in just $10 each to get me there Summer 2026. 💖As of August 2025: 104 supporters have donated a TOTAL of $3,128 of my $7,000 fundraising goal.
If you’re able to support me in reaching my goal, I’d be super grateful—and I’ll totally keep you updated on all the cool things I learn and do along the way! ありがとう (arigatou) — thank you!!
Cherry blossoms, anime shops, Japanese classes and new friends await!
